When my mother came to live with me at age 96 due to dementia, I was at a loss as to what to do and how to best take care of her. The hardest part was all of it. It wasn't an easy job and it came without training. I could handle most of her care but needed help a few days a week bathing her and needed someone I could trust to stay with her for a few hours each week so I could have some time for shopping and doing other things. After calling Hannah's Home Care and hiring Maria I was so blessed as she was wonderful to Mother and a great help for me for over a year. We had to enter Mom into a nursing home at age 97 as she came to the point of needing 24-hour care. Maria even visited her there. I would recommend her without hesitation.

In 2007, I became the legal guardian of an 80-year old woman with advanced Alzheimer’s. On a recommendation from the social worker, I hired Hannah's Home Care. Ten years later through all the trials, starting with daily visits and soon advancing to 24/7 care, Hannah's and l accomplished our goal. The care provided was exemplary. Hospice nurses made it a point to marvel at the condition of Dorothy (my now 90-year-old) as they administered to her. Maria Walton and her employees were there for Dorothy whenever and for whatever reason they were needed. My hope is that if my wife or I ever need this type of service we can find as loving, caring and excellent a service provider as Hannah's Home Care.

We searched for someone to help my 90-year-old aunt, and we were lucky enough to find Hannah’s Home Care, run by Maria Walton. Right from the start, I knew we had made a good choice. Maria and her great staff of trained employees made everything easier for my aunt. They took care of everything, from cooking her meals, keeping the apartment sparkling clean, to helping her with her daily bathing and dressing. Besides all this physical help, they were all really great people, and provided Esther with companionship and a window to the outside world. In every way they were always loving and caring in the help they provided. Two of the staff members, Denise and Tanya, will always remain in my memory. They cared for Esther as if she was their own family member. Tanya really bonded with my aunt, and they would have long talks about their love of chocolate and animals. In conclusion, I will never forget and will always be grateful for the wonderful help and service that Maria and the other staff provided for my Aunt Esther.
